Homemade Laundry Detergent

 Anyone out there use a homemade laundry detergent? Have you tried more than one recipe? What recipe do you use and why?

Also, here's a photo of a turkey that was probably 80 feet up in our tree. It got down eventually.

    I like the liquid recipes. It goes a LONG way. We use 1 bar Fels Naptha, 1 cup Washing Soda, 1 cup Borax. Follow about any of the recipes for melting and mixing. It makes nearly 5 gallons that last a long time since we use 1/2 cup a load.
